So often we feel like we are only one person. We feel we could never make a big difference in this world. We feel we have to accept things as they are just because that’s the way it’s always been. My friends, I am here to tell you that is the biggest lie ever told in all of history.

It’s time to stop believing it.

We need to stop believing that we are all separate. This is the very thing that holds us back from our true potential. We need to realize that we are a united force. We need to stop looking at what makes us different and start looking at everything that makes us the same. No one is better than anyone else. We are all equal. We are all human. If you believe you are greater, it’s time to take a good hard look in the mirror and start getting real with yourself.

We are all very different in our gifts and abilities. Yes, that is true. We were designed that way for a reason. Each of us has our own part to play in this world. Our very own unique role that when put into the grand scheme of things creates the most beautiful symphony ever heard.

What do the majority of people want for their lives? If you ask anyone you will most likely get the same answers. No, I don’t mean lots of money and a big house filled with expensive things. Most of the time that’s the thinking we buy into though. Literally. What I’m talking about here are the things that really matter: Love. Joy. Peace.

So how could we be any different from one another at our core? That’s right. We are not.

What we also need to realize is that if we all banded together and stopped looking at what makes us different, we would all have exactly what we want!! Somewhere along the line we have been duped into believing that things like greed and power will get us what we want. Games and manipulation. These are the very things that make us act in the negative and violent ways we do though. These are the reasons that the world is in the state that it’s in.

So if we could all stop living with this lie and realize that we have the power to change the way things are…that would make ALL the difference! And where does this power lie? With you and me. It’s inside ALL of us. WE have the control! And that’s the control of our own thoughts and actions! We don’t have to fall for the lie that we are weak and separate. Our strength lies in our Oneness!

It’s my prayer that each of us begins to see this. You can call it a silly fantasy or pipe dream, but I know that one by one we can make a difference. One by one we can unite. One by one we CAN change the state of this world. Turn from the mindset that we must accept the chaos. Instead, choose to live in peace, joy and love towards all. That is all we truly need. Forever and ever. Amen.
